The optical sensor for measuring visibility is installed inside a downward-facing hood, which protects the lens from precipitation and dust. Its structure is designed to withstand harsh weather, allowing for stable and reliable measurements over a long period. In areas where there is a risk of snow and ice accumulation in winter, an optional hood heater is effective.
